Selecting a Hytek Tools Fiber Laser Tube Cutter

Hytek Tools offer two primary configurations for fiber laser tube cutting: the 2-chuck side-load model, and the 3-chuck model. Selecting the right system depends primarily on your raw material infeed and finished part outfeed requirements.

     

Model Comparison based on Length and Capacity

  • 2-Chuck Tube Cutter: This model typically features a 10ft outfeed length. While the outfeed is fixed, you can choose infeed lengths of 20ft, 24ft, or 30ft. Chuck diameters range from 4.5" to 13.5".

  • 3-Chuck Tube Cutter: Recommended if your finished parts exceed 10ft or if you are working with exceptionally long raw materials, such as 40ft. Outfeed lengths are customizable, with common configurations including 20ft, 30ft, or 40ft. Chuck diameters are available up to 20".

Loading Options

  • Semi-Auto Loader: A manual rack system where tubes are placed one by one. This is a versatile option suitable for various shaped tubes.

  • Full-Auto Bundle Loader: Designed for high-volume processing of round, square, and rectangular tubes (up to 9" diameter). This system handles entire bundles, feeding them automatically into the machine.
